Joint sealing

Reliable Sealing of Water-Bearing Movement Joints.

Sealing water-bearing movement joints is challenging because the joint often cannot be completely cleared and pressing water limits the sealing options. In addition, climatic conditions constantly change the joint width.

Only an acrylate gel in combination with a polymer component (e.g., WILLGEL® SWIFT/ WILLGEL® Poly) meets the requirements for high sealing effectiveness in the event of water ingress, very good flank adhesion, and a flexible, elastic structure. The initially watery product penetrates well into the structure, even into incompletely cleaned joints, penetrating any damage to the joint tape and finally hardening into a flexible material with excellent adhesion to the joint flank.
