During the excavation of a tunnel, water leaks in the area of the brush seals and annular gap seals posed a major challenge.

Thanks to the targeted use of our WILLKAT^® Foam, a highly expanding, slightly flexible silicate resin foam, it was possible to stop the leaks quickly and reliably and ensure safe construction progress – even under challenging geological conditions.
