Some projects are unforgettable, and this is one of them.

Almost 7,000 kilometres away from Germany, in the heart of tropical Sri Lanka, WILLPUR^® WX has proven its strength.

During the construction of the irrigation project tunnels, engineers encountered leaky construction joints and cracked tunnel segments.

Thanks to precise application, the joints and cracks in the precast concrete elements were structurally refurbished reliably and permanently – in several sections of the 28 km-long irrigation tunnel project.

The result is maximum safety and permanent tightness, setting new standards for the project.
