Polyurethane Solutions for Water Sealing in Construction and Tunneling.

For stopping water ingress in mining and tunnel construction, or for sealing underwater concrete bases, excavation pit enclosures in special civil engineering, at the entrance to the launch or reception shaft in pipe jacking, and also for sealing horizontal boreholes in microtunneling, single- or two-component polyurethane resins are used.

The choice of material depends on the conditions on site. Depending on the requirements, flexible (e.g. WILLSTOP^® FLEX+), viscoelastic (e.g., WILLPUR^® WX), fast or slow-reacting systems with a low foam factor (e.g., WILLPUR^® SL) or with a very high foam factor (e.g., WILLPUR^® WS HF) can be used.
