Soil stabilization is important in tunnel construction and when excavating unstable soils. Different products are used depending on the type of soil. For fine-grained or water-saturated soils, WILLGEL^® PRO, WILLGEL^® SWIFT, and WILLGEL^® Y acrylate gels are used, which offer low viscosity, good penetration behavior, and variable reaction times. For coarser or highly permeable soils, on the other hand, silicate resins such as WILLKAT^® Foam or polyurethane resin systems such as WILLPUR^® WX are used.

These systems react quickly or slowly depending on requirements and can expand to varying degrees.
