Key Account Manager (m/f/d) Civil Engineering, Tunneling & Mining

F. Willich GmbH is part of an internationally active group of companies and is one of the leading manufacturers of construction chemicals and chemical products. Our solutions are used worldwide in building construction and civil engineering, sewer rehabilitation, tunneling, mining, and special civil engineering, as well as in industry and trade.

What we expect

  • You will be responsible for a sales area (northern, central or southern Germany)
  • You will advise existing customers and acquire new customers, particularly in areas such as tunnel construction, mining, transport infrastructure construction, hydraulic engineering, specialised civil engineering and building renovation
  • You will provide application support and assist with the optimal use of our products
  • You will organise and conduct presentations on site or in-house as well as trade fair appearances
  • You will prepare quotations, conduct contract negotiations and take care of follow-up
  • You will observe the market and competition and report to the DACH sales management
  • You will carry out customer needs, market and competition analyses and provide technical advice to clients and planning offices
  • You will build strong customer relationships – both technical and commercial
  • You will travel extensively within your sales area: based from your home office or our head office in Dortmund

Your skills

  • A degree in engineering – ideally civil engineering, geology or mining – or training as a technician/master craftsman in the construction sector
  • Experience in sales or in the processing of consultation-intensive products
  • Technical expertise, initiative and commitment
  • Strong communication skills and a confident manner
  • A structured, independent and goal-oriented approach to work
  • Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally also AvERP, SAP or Navision
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
