Commercial clerk (m/f/d) - Order processing / Internal sales

F. Willich GmbH & Co. KG and its sister companies are among the leading international manufacturers of construction chemicals and chemical products.
Our solutions are used in building construction and civil engineering, sewer rehabilitation, tunnel construction, mining and specialised civil engineering, as well as in industry and trade.
Around 45 employees currently work at our Dortmund site to ensure the success of our company.
To strengthen our internal sales team, we are looking for a committed individual who can support our national and international customers with their organisational skills and reliability.

What we expect

  • Responsibility for the commercial and logistical processing of orders from our national and international customers
  • Execution of the entire order processing, including shipping and monitoring of deadlines and schedules
  • Preparation of quotations in close cooperation with the sales department
  • Preparing all order-related documents (quotations, order confirmations, delivery notes, invoices and customs documents)
  • Supporting the sales department and the head of internal sales in all commercial, organisational and operational matters
  • Supporting the planning and timely procurement of raw materials, consumables and supplies in coordination with sales and warehousing
  • Creating and maintaining master data in the ERP system
  • Actively helping to shape processes and collaborating on projects
  • Organising and supporting internal and external training courses (e.g. product and process training)

Not a must, but a plus: experience in export or customs clearance.

Your skills

  • Completed commercial training, ideally as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or comparable qualification – alternatively, technical training with additional commercial qualifications
  • Experience in order processing or internal sales, preferably in a technical or industrial environment
  • High degree of customer and service orientation
  • Good written and spoken German and English
  • Confident use of MS Office and ERP systems as well as an understanding of IT-supported processes
  • Technical interest and commercial understanding – in particular, good numerical skills
  • Friendly, confident manner as well as team spirit, reliability and resilience
