Acrylate Injection Systems
Our WILLGEL®systems are high-performance injection gels based on acrylate technology. Designed for reliable waterproofing and soil stabilization, they combine extremely low viscosity with outstanding penetration capabilities – even in the finest capillaries and microcracks.
The system consists of three core components – A1, A2 and the B-component. A fourth component (water) is added to the B-side directly on site. After preparing the A- and B-mixtures, the material is injected two-component at a 1:1 volume ratio.
The injection solution is a pure liquid with very low surface tension, ensuring deep and uniform penetration into porous structures. Depending on the selected product variant – WILLGEL® PRO, WILLGEL® SWIFT, or WILLGEL® Y – the material cures into either a slightly elastic or highly flexible gel with excellent sealing performance and long-term stability.
The reaction time can be precisely controlled – from a few seconds to several minutes – by adjusting the dosage of the B-component. This makes WILLGEL® systems perfectly adaptable to a wide range of site conditions and injection tasks.
Fields of application
- Waterproofing of underground structures (tunnels, basements, foundations)
- Sealing of construction joints and movement joints
- Stabilization of loose and water-bearing soils
- Elastic crack injection and swellable crack repair
For swellable sealing or movement joints, a polymer component can be used on the B-side instead of water. This allows the gel to form a flexible, reactivating seal, providing additional safety in dynamic or moisture-sensitive areas.
With WILLGEL® Acrylate Gels, F. Willich offers a technically advanced, durable and versatile sealing system – optimized for demanding civil and geotechnical engineering applications where precision and performance matter.
